Uzbekistan imports mobile phones worth US$180 million.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan imported about 2.6 million mobile phones worth US$178.2 million in January-September 2023, the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

Compared to the same period in 2022, Uzbekistan increased the import of mobile devices by 398,361 units.

In reporting period, Uzbekistan imported 2.3 million units of mobile phones from China, 223,100 from Vietnam, and 32,500 from India.

More than 7,700 phones were imported from the UAE and 2,500 from Kazakhstan.
