Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan (CBU) with the director of the United Vienna Institute Hervé Joly, the press service of the Central Bank reports.

At the meeting, issues related to regular training of employees were discussed, in particular, increasing their coverage, organizing training courses in new areas of the economy.

The Regional Training Center of the Joint Vienna Institute is designed to organize short-term training courses for civil servants in the countries of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia. 

The center was founded in 1992 by the Austrian government (the Ministry of Finance and the Austrian National Bank), the International Monetary Fund and a number of other international organizations.
