Issues related to the implementation of the results of the Uzbek-Qatari Summit in Samarkand were discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

The agenda of the dialogue included issues of further strengthening bilateral relations in all areas without exception. Particular attention was paid to enriching economic diplomacy with tangible results.

“We held a productive dialogue with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. The focus of our discussion was the implementation of the results of the Uzbek-Qatari Summit in Samarkand, chaired by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, intensifying economic ties, expanding bilateral cooperation and strengthening public diplomacy. We also welcomed the establishment of direct flights between Tashkent and Doha - another important step connecting our countries,” noted the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
