No new strain of coronavirus has been identified in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new strain of coronavirus “Pirola” has not been identified in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health of Uzbekistan (SES).

The SES statement notes that the new strain was registered in Israel, Canada, Denmark, Great Britain, South Africa, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Thailand and the USA.

According to the SES, no cases of the Pirola strain have been registered in Uzbekistan and neighboring countries.
