The tourism potential of Uzbekistan was presented at the international fair "MATTA Fair 2023" in Malaysia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 to 3 September 2023, the 35th international tourism fair "MATTA Fair 2023" was held in the capital of Malaysia in the city of Kuala Lumpur. In the largest Malaysian international trade and exhibition center MITEC, the delegation of Uzbekistan for the first time presents the national stand of our country.

The participation of the Uzbek delegation in the tourism fair "MATTA Fair 2023" is organized by representatives of the State Unitary Enterprise "National PR Center" under the Committee of Tourism, as well as with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia.

As part of the delegation representing our national stand, specialists from the National PR Center, local travel companies in Uzbekistan, such as East Asia Point, Shahraz, Orient mice, Euroasia, Another Travel, which present their best offers for popular destinations, will exchange experience and opinions on the strategy and programs for the development of tourism in all sectors and segments.

On the very first day, keen interest among the participants of the fair was caused by tourism products of Uzbekistan, which are gaining wide popularity among citizens not only of Malaysia, but of the entire region of Southeast Asia.

During the international fair, meetings are planned with state tourism organizations and marketing companies, such as Tourism Malaysia, the National Tourism Organization of Korea, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, the Philippine Tourism Promotion Council, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, the National Tourism Organization of Japan, as well as business audiences with representatives of the Uzbek delegation from Malaysian tour operators on active sales of sites and familiarization with the conditions for participation in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair TITF-2023, which will be held in November this year in Tashkent.

As part of the MATTA Fair 2023, the director of the National PR Center Samandarova Dilfuza, as well as a representative of the Orient mice travel company, made a presentation on the tourism potential of our country.

It is worth noting that this fair will provide a unique opportunity for Malaysians and foreign guests to immerse themselves in the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, contributing to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the rich history, art, cuisine and hospitality of the country.
