Morocco progresses to quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Morocco defeated Spain in a penalty shootout and reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Qatar.

The main and additional time of the match ended with the score 0:0. Morocco won the penalty shootout with the score 3:0. The Moroccan national team for the first time in history reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup.

Morocco will meet in the 1/4 finals with the team that wins the match between Portugal and Switzerland.
