Uzbek businessmen take part in an exhibition of food and drinks held in India

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan took part in the SIAL India 2022 exhibition, which was held in the capital of India from 1 to 3 December, Dunyo news agency reported.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the international fair SIAL, which has been held in different cities of the world since 1964, is one of the largest events in the field of food and beverages.

With the support of the Ministry of Food Industry of India, more than 400 national and foreign companies presented a wide range of food and beverage products, including dried fruits, confectionery, dietary supplements, processed foods and various drinks at the organized fair. According to the organizers, more than 10 thousand buyers and specialists from 40 foreign countries visited the fair.

As part of their visit, Uzbek businessmen, with the assistance of the Embassy of our country in India, the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), held B2B meetings with representatives of large Indian companies, and also invited them to jointly implement promising projects in areas of food and beverage production in our country.

Indian companies have expressed interest in establishing direct relations with their Uzbek partners, appreciating the great achievements of our country in this area in recent years.
