Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan resolutely condemned the terrorist act committed on 30 November 2022 in Aibak city of Samangan province of Afghanistan. This was stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

“We strongly condemn the terrorist act committed on 30 November 2022 in the Afghan city of Aibak, Samangan province. The cynical sortie in the Jihadiya Madrasah led to numerous human victims, mainly among students,” the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.

“Once again, we declare that such violent actions provoke an escalation of tension and prevent the establishment of a sustainable and long -term peace, as well as the achievement of national consent in Afghanistan,” the document emphasizes.

“We express sincere condolences to families and relatives of the dead, as well as wishing the speedy recovery to the victims,” the Foreign Ministry notes.
