Over 57,800 new enterprises were created in Uzbekistan in Jan-Jul

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the State Statistics Committee, the total number of newly created enterprises in January-July 2022 amounted to 57,814 units, and by types of economic activity (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) they are formed as follows:

in trade - 20,850 units.

in industry - 10,247 units.

in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 8,338 units.

in the field of accommodation and food services - 3,506 units.

in construction - 2,951 units.

in transportation and storage - 1,812 units.

in the field of information and communication - 1,522 units.

in the provision of medical and social services - 991 units.

in other areas - 7,597 units.
