Oil refining and petrochemistry of Central Asia and the Caspian returns to Tashkent with the support of Uzbekneftegaz

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The ninth annual conference "Oil refining and petrochemistry of Central Asia and the Caspian" returns to Tashkent on 19-20 October 2022 with the support of Uzbekistan’s state oil and gas company Uzbekneftegaz.

The conference is the largest business event in the region entirely dedicated to the development of petrochemistry, gas chemistry, oil and gas processing in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. The participants of the event will have the opportunity to hear directly from the project owners about their plans and the main projects of the region.

Within the framework of the first session, participants will have a detailed macroeconomic review, considering the uncertainty in the oil and gas industry and changes in energy policy, as well as the impact of the situation on the Central Asian market. The second session will include discussions on strategies and ideas to mitigate the risks and consequences of supply chain disruptions for polymer manufacturers.

One of the most important and difficult tasks for the development of the oil and gas industry is to attract international investment and project financing. In a dedicated session, participants will have the chance to listen to representatives of international banks, export credit agencies, national investment promotion agencies, government agencies, and international associations.

Today it is impossible to ignore the topics of decarbonization, energy transition and digitalization, and they will be fully reflected in the program - leading experts will discuss and present specific technologies for the decarbonization of petrochemical production and initiatives in the CIS and in the world.

The conference will be attended by both representatives of petrochemical, gas chemical and oil and gas processing enterprises of the region, as well as representatives of leading licensors, engineering companies and equipment suppliers from around the world.

Among the confirmed speakers and guests are representatives of SOCAR, Ferghana Oil Refinery, Uzbekneftegaz, KazMunayGas, Solomon Associates, Navoiazot, KLPE, Shymkent Chemical Company, Neftekhim Company, Shurtan Gas Chemical Operating Company, KPI, Topsoe and many others.

The conference organizer is the international company Globus, which specializes in high-level business events in the energy and oil and gas sectors.
