Savdogar Bank to change its name to Garant Bank

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Joint stock commercial bank Savdogar will change its name to Garant Bank. The corresponding decision was made at the meeting of the bank’s shareholders.

The bank’s shareholders instructed the board to take all organizational measures to change the name of the financial institution.

In December, Rauf Kamiljanov acquired a controlling stake in Savdogar Bank for 10 billion soums. Later, he bought another 45.73% stake in the bank for 71.3 billion soums. As a result, his share in the bank amounted to more than 99%.
