President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov meets with heads of parliamentary delegations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As previously reported, a parliamentary delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva took part in the XI plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TurkPA), which was held in Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyzstan).
On 24 June, a brief meeting of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov with the heads of parliamentary delegations participating in the TurkPA meeting took place.
The Kyrgyz leader noted that Bishkek attaches great importance to deepening ties with the Turkic states and, being one of the founding states of the TurkPA, is interested in the formation of this inter-parliamentary association as an example of solidarity and unity between countries.
In particular, President Japarov noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of multifaceted ties with Uzbekistan, which, thanks to the efforts and political will of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, have acquired the character of strategic cooperation.
Toraga of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Mamytov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sagiba Gafarova, Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Shentop, Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Hungary Sandor Lezhak and Deputy Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Kasymguly Babayev also took part in the meeting with the head of state.
