Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 June, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Bobur Abdinazarov met with a representative and consultant of Berlin Economics Woldemar Walter.

Berlin Economics is a research company specializing in government consulting for more than 15 years.

The meeting was also attended by Shoyadbek Babayev, Head of the Department for the Development of Mechanical Engineering (Instrumentation) and Defense Industry, and other employees of the Ministry.

The agenda included issues on further strengthening mutually beneficial and effective cooperation in the development of mechanical engineering in the country.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Uzbek side acquainted the guests with the ongoing work to improve this industry and told about the expected results of the work carried out.

Also during the meeting, both sides agreed to jointly develop a concept for the development of a machine-building cluster and supplement it with an appropriate roadmap.

At the end of the meeting, for familiarization, the guests went to factories for the production of components for cars. And also during the visit of the consultant of the Berlin Economics company, it is planned to visit manufacturing enterprises such as “UzAvtomotors”, “Jizzakh Automobile Plant”, "ADM Jizzakh" and others.
