The supply of flour and flour products to remote and hard-to-reach areas is carried out at the expense of the budget of local khokimiyats

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- This year, it is planned to receive an average of 2.5 tons of wheat per hectare of irrigated grain fields throughout the country, in total, 2.55 million tons of wheat are expected to be delivered to the warehouses of Uzdonmakhsulot JSC. This was announced at a press conference with the participation of officials from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, the Ministry of Agriculture and other organizations.

Information was provided on the important stages of ongoing reforms in the field of growing and marketing of grain and details of the expected changes.

Depending on the amount of wheat grown before 1 August of each year and the demand for wheat in the domestic market, additional wheat will be imported from foreign countries if necessary.

It is strictly forbidden to seize grain remaining in the farms under various pretexts, as well as to impose illegal restrictions on interregional transportation of grain sold on the stock exchange.
