A new neighborhood is being built in the city of Ferghana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the construction site of the “Yangi Uzbekiston” neighborhood in the city of Ferghana.
It is planned to build 298 multi-storey buildings on 300 hectares. 80 of them will be built by entrepreneurs this year.
Two secondary schools, three kindergartens, medical facilities, trade and consumer services, a sports complex and a mosque will be built. A small industrial zone of 50 hectares will play an important role in ensuring the employment of the population.
The “Yangi Uzbekiston” park with an artificial lake will be created on 70 hectares in the center of the neighborhood. More than 10 thousand seedlings have already been planted. A total of 21,000 trees are planned to be planted.
“Yangi Uzbekiston” neighborhoods will also appear in the Yangi Asr mahalla of Ferghana district and Yuqori Soybuyi mahalla of Yazyavan district.
244 multi-apartment buildings for 9,429 apartments will be commissioned in Ferghana region this year.
The Head of the state instructed to provide the neighborhood with communication networks and organize modern public services.
Thereupon, the President completed his trip to Ferghana region and returned to Tashkent.
