Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Vocational Training Center in Ferghana.

The complex is organized in cooperation with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). It trains specialists in electronics, information technology, automotive industry, clothing, hairdressing and cosmetology.

All modern equipment was brought to the center from South Korea. Training is conducted according to Korean programs. There are 5 South Korean trainers. 240 people are studying at the center.

The Head of the state got acquainted with the educational process, talked with young people and women.

“It’s never too late to learn something new. The fact that you have come here and are learning a profession shows that you are not indifferent to your future. It might be a little difficult. But if you think about yourself, about the future of your children, be diligent. Difficulties will pass, and you will gain invaluable knowledge”, the President said.

The Head of the state also spoke with Korean mentors and thanked them.

Before this, similar centers were opened in Tashkent, Samarkand and Shakhrisabz. The new center in Ferghana will train those who wish from all regions of the valley. A hostel is built here for those who come from afar.
