Zarubejneft (Russia) plans to conclude agreement on well drilling with Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russia’s Zarubejneft is planning to sign agreement on well drilling in Uzbekistan, head of the company Nikolai Brunich said.

In interview published at the website of the company, Brunich said that the company already realized a contract on intensification of oil production at North Urtabulak and Kruk in Bukhara-Khiva region. Positive results were received in nine from ten wells.

Zarubejneft head said the company is holding negotiations on signing of new well drilling contract in Uzbekistan with use of its experience.

Uzbekistan plans to carry out dip drilling at over 100 perspective objects with participation of foreign companies by 2012. Uzbekneftegaz national holding company developed programme on increasing reserves of hydrocarbons in 2005-2020 in the volume of 1.15 billion standard fuel, including 1.015 trillion cubic metyers of gas, 69.8 million of oil and 65.7 million tones of gas condensate.
