Uzbekistan Havo Yollari to open new flights during winter navigation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways), national airline of Uzbekistan, will shift to winter navigation on 25 October 2009, which envisages launch of new flights.

The Uzbek airline said it will carry out one flight a week to New York and Rome. Uzbekistan Havo Yollari will fly from Tashkent to Istanbul five times a week, but Sunday flight will be moved to Wednesday.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari said it united flights to Indian cities of Delhi and Amritsar. The airline will carry out flight Tashkent-Delhi-Amritsar-Tashkent on Tuesday and Tashkent- Amritsar-Delhi-Tashkent on Saturdays.

Number of Tashkent-Kuala Lumpur flights will increase from two to three times a week. Uzbekistan Havo Yollari adds new flight on Fridays.

From 1 December 2009, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari will include Birmingham to its routs. On Tuesdays, the airline will carry out flight Tashkent-London-Birmingham-Tashkent and Tashkent-Birmingham-London-Tashkent on Fridays.

All regional centers of Uzbekistan will be connected with flights to Moscow and other large cities of the Russian Federation.

Within Hajj programme, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari plans to carry out 25 charter flights from Tashkent, Urgench, Bukhara, Namangan and Termez to Medina on 8-17 November. On 2-10 December, 25 return flights from Medina to Uzbekistan will be conducted.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari said there will be also changes in cargo transportation with use of A300-600 airplanes of Korean Air. From 2 October, the airplanes will be used to fly to Frankfurt along with flights from Navoi to Bombay, Delhi and Bangkok. It is also planned to open regular cargo flights to Amsterdam.

The Uzbek airline said the winter navigation will be into effect till 27 March 2010.
