The meeting was aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in attraction of Korean investments into economy of Uzbekistan.

Aziz Abdukhakimov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan, noted that the active participation of Korean partners in large investment projects, including projects in Navoi free industrial-economic zone. Abdukhakimov said regional programme on improving industrial potential of the Uzbek regions is developed in line with the order of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkar Mirziyayev.

The State Property Committee said the sides agreed that the Korean side will assist in organization of visits of potential investors to Uzbekistan. The investors will have an opportunity to visit concrete objects during the visit. Besides, information about investment opportunities will be placed at official website of KOTRA.

The sides agreed on order of further joint work to realize agreements and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation.
