The structure of Alisher Usmanov buys a cement plant in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ackermann Cement CA has acquired a 98.6% stake in Akhangarancement. This was reported by the press service of the Russian company.

The Russian Ackermann Cement and its subsidiary in Uzbekistan, Ackermann Cement CA, are part of the USM holding controlled by Alisher Usmanov. 

The former owners of the plant Lamanka Enterprises Limited (Cyprus) and Giacinttar Limited (British Virgin Islands) announced the sale of 84.3% and 14.1% of the shares of Akhangarancement, respectively.

In 2021, Akhangarancement put into operation a new modern dry production line with a capacity of 2.5 million tons of cement per year.

The new owner of the plant promises to leave all the profits of the enterprise in Uzbekistan and direct it to its socio-economic development.
