Uzbek President to take part in India – Central Asia Summit

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 January, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the First India – Central Asia summit, via videoconference.
The event is organized at the initiative of the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi. The agenda of the high-level meeting includes consideration of issues of further enhancing multilateral relations, strengthening interregional connectivity, ensuring stability and sustainable development in the region.
The main attention will be paid to the promotion of practical cooperation in trade, industrial cooperation, green economy, innovation and digital technologies, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian exchange.
Following the summit, it is envisaged to adopt the Delhi Declaration, aimed at strengthening friendship and long-term partnership in priority areas.
