The Minister of Health gets acquainted with the activities of the 103 service of Tashkent, gives necessary instructions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Not so much time has passed since the omicron coronavirus strain entered our country. Naturally, this news caused a lot of anxiety. For this reason, along with the real infected, more and more citizens with symptoms of a cold or who think they are sick with the virus are contacting the ambulance service.
This is reflected in the daily increase in the workload on the ambulance staff and the increase in the number of calls. For example, on 12 January, the service "103" of the city of Tashkent received 4888 calls.
To directly study the situation, Minister of Health Behzod Musaev today at 03:00 am visited the ambulance station in Tashkent, where he got acquainted with the work of the Call Center and ambulance staff.
Due to the increase in the number of calls to the 103 service and the increase in workload, at the same hour, 40 modernly equipped ambulances, along with drivers, were attached to the station by order of the Minister.
In addition, an additional 30 jobs for operators have been created to improve the efficiency of the Call Center.
In order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of ambulance teams, they were additionally provided with 100 tablets.
Also from this morning, the brigades will begin to receive sets of medicines against coronavirus - "Covid-box" in the required quantity.
During a nightly conversation with emergency medical staff, 12 special COVID polyclinics were established in 12 districts of the city of Tashkent to provide quality medical services on an outpatient basis or at home to patients with coronavirus, whose illness is asymptomatic or mild.
In addition, special mobile teams have been set up in 12 multidisciplinary and 66 family polyclinics to effectively handle coronavirus cases.
