Uzbekneftegaz and the Anti-Corruption Agency sign a memorandum of cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekneftegaz continues large-scale work to further improve the activities of system departments and enterprises to combat corruption, prevent various offenses, theft and improve the efficiency of the compliance control system.
A continuation of these reforms is the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to support and develop cooperation to ensure the consistent implementation of goals and objectives in the field of anti-corruption.
The memorandum defines the directions of cooperation between the parties in the field of combating corruption in the near future, tasks and responsibilities that need to be implemented.
The Agency provides assistance to Uzbekneftegaz in organizing the effective functioning and implementation of the internal anti-corruption control (compliance control) system and other international standards of counteraction. The joint-stock company, in turn, will closely cooperate with the Agency in the implementation of activities in the field of prevention, combating corruption in the system and coordination of such activities.
Within the framework of the memorandum, it was noted that in order to effectively implement cooperation, the parties will create working groups from their representatives, as well as attract specialists from state and economic management bodies, public organizations and the media.
The parties agreed to take appropriate practical steps to jointly implement the tasks stipulated by the memorandum.
