National Bank of Uzbekistan to place bonds on Moscow Exchange in December
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - National Bank of Uzbekistan to place bonds on Moscow Exchange in December.
A representative of the bank said this on the sidelines of the Second International Financial and Banking Forum of the CIS countries. This was reported by Sputnik.
“On 15 November, the Central Bank of Russia allowed the placement of bonds of the National Bank of Uzbekistan for 10 billion rubles, in December we intend to place them in full,” the source said.
According to him, they will be placed for a period of three years, while the yield can be up to 10% per annum.
A memorandum letter on the organization of the issue of bonds in Russian rubles at the Moscow Stock Exchange, National Bank of Uzbekistan and a consortium of Russian banks signed at the end of September.
The organizers of the issue are Gazprombank, Sovcombank, Rosselkhozbank and Asia-Invest Bank (Russian subsidiary of the National Bank of Uzbekistan).
