Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 November 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Estonia (with residence in Nur-Sultan) Refik Šabanović and Toomas Tirs.
Accepting his credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassadors on their appointment and wished them success in their responsible post.
During the conversation, topical issues of Uzbek-Croatian and Uzbek-Estonian relations were discussed at the bilateral level and in the “Uzbekistan-European Union” format.
Practical proposals on enhancing mutually beneficial ties in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres were considered.
An exchange of views took place on the situation in the region.
