Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A multi-storey 24-apartment residential building in the Kun Nur mahalla of Khodjeyli district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan was equipped with 48 solar modules located on the roof.

The total capacity of the photovoltaic installation in this new building was 14.4 kW.

Work on equipping new residential facilities with autonomous energy supply through renewable energy is being carried out in the country as part of the implementation of the policy of the leadership of the Republic of Uzbekistan to meet the growing needs of the population, including remote areas, in energy supply.
