Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to increase GDP per capita by 1.6 times in the next 5 years. This was stated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, speaking at a session of the UzLiDeP party in Tashkent.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that in order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to immobilize all resources and capabilities.
Thus, by 2030 we will be able to increase per capita income by more than US$4,000.
“Of course, this is not an easy task. To achieve this, we must first of all radically change labor efficiency by expanding new technologies and value chains through science and innovative development of the economy,” the President said.
