Uzbekistan and Belarus sign a roadmap for the development of cooperation in the field of ICT
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During a meeting within the framework of the XXVII International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies "TIBO-2021", the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Sadykov and the Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus K. Shulgan signed an action plan ("Roadmap") for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the field of communications and information and communication technologies.
As noted by the parties, this agreement will serve to further strengthen cooperation in the field of ICT between the two countries.
It should be noted that partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the field of ICT have a long history. Currently, bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Belarus in the field of digital technologies is carried out on the basis of a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements, including in the field of telecommunications, the postal sector, IT entrepreneurship, education, and e-government.
