Uzbekistan is dramatically changing the system of payment of pensions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The process of assigning state pensions is being simplified and the system for delivering pensions and benefits will be improved. This is stipulated by the presidential decree "On measures to further simplify the process of assigning state pensions and improve the system for delivering pensions and benefits to citizens."
Currently, when assigning state pensions, 30 types of documents are required, in more than 14 ministries and organizations responsible for the submission of these documents, there are no departmental information systems, electronic resources and databases, which prevents the abandonment of paperwork and digitalization of the document collection process ...
Starting from 1 January 2022:
payment of state pensions, social benefits, compensations and other payments financed by the off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance (hereinafter referred to as the Pension Fund) is carried out by commercial banks and other specialized organizations selected on the basis of tenders held separately in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent each three years.
At the same time, in accordance with agreements concluded with commercial banks and other specialized organizations selected on the basis of a tender, they are obliged to deliver pensions and benefits directly to gatherings of citizens of makhallas and to the address of citizens' residence in the form of cash.
Starting from 1 July 2022:
when assigning state pensions, the demand from citizens of documents on seniority, wages, periods of study in higher educational institutions and military service is canceled. At the same time, for citizens who are not working at the time of the emergence of the right to retire, the service is being introduced for entering into the Interdepartmental hardware and software complex "Unified National Labor System" (UNLS) information about work experience according to their work books by contacting these citizens to the centers promoting employment.
The assignment of state pensions is carried out on the basis of electronic data entered in the MPAK ENST. At the same time, the Pension Fund receives documents on seniority, wages, periods of study in higher educational institutions and military service of citizens through UNLS on the basis of electronic document flow;
For the appointment of state pensions, only a passport or an identification ID-card is required from citizens.
