Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Airways national airline carried out first freight flight from Navoi to Delhi, UzA reported. The report said the flight was carried out with use of A-300 freight aircraft, which was leased by Korean Air.
As earlier reported, Korean Air leased two A-300 freight airplanes to Uzbekistan Airways. The aircrafts based in Navoi airport.
The Uzbek airline will carry out three flights a week on routes Navoi-Delhi-Navoi, Navoi-Bangkok-Navoi, Navoi-Mumbai-Navoi.
Soon, the company plans to launch flights on routes Seoul-Navoi-Milan, Seoul-Navoi-Brussels and Navoi-Moscow-Navoi.
Uzbekistan Airways also plans to launch new flights Navoi-Dubai-Navoi and Navoi-Almaty-Navoi in cooperation with Korean Air in the second half of 2009. The airline plans to launch other passenger flights.
