Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 18 August, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres issued a warning, in which he indicated that the aggravation of the conflict between China and the United States is likely to divide the world into two parts.

In this regard, on 19, August, at a regular departmental press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said that cooperation brings joint benefits and prosperity for China and the United States, and confrontation turns into damage and problems for both sides.

“The Chinese side calls on individual US politicians to listen and take seriously the opinion of the international community, to direct bilateral relations towards harmony and pragmatic cooperation and to make joint efforts with China to maintain peace and ensure stability and development throughout the world,” the Chinese diplomat said.
