Patriarch Kirill to visit Uzbekistan in May-June - Russian Foreign Ministry

Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia is expected to visit Uzbekistan in May-June 2017, Interfax agency reported quoting Deputy Director of the Third CIS Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Yevgeny Teryokhin.
Speaking at the committee for CIS Affairs of the State Duma, he said that currently preparations are under way for the patriarchal visit to Uzbekistan.
He noted that the visit was initially “planned for 21-25 April”, but due to certain circumstances its dates could be moved to May-June.
The dates of the visit have yet to be confirmed, Teryokhin said.
