It was noted that from 28 October, the candidates started their agitation campaign to deliver their programmes and ideas, proposals and initiatives to the voters. The candidates are holding meeting with the voters in places.
The candidates use free air time at TV and radio stations, as well as free printing area at the newspapers. The presidential hopefuls also use party newspapers.
At the session, the participants noted that the candidates and mass media strictly adhere to the election legislation of Uzbekistan. No cases of violation at pre-election agitation were observed.
The CEC participants discussed issues related to holding voting. It was said that TV and radio reels on election process are broadcasted.
The CEC members considered other issues related to jurisdiction of the commission and adopted corresponding decisions.
