CEC of Uzbekistan creates 9,378 polling stations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan created 9,378 polling stations for the presidential elections of Uzbekistan, which will be held on 4 December 2016.

According to the CEC, 44 polling stations were opened at diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in foreign states.

They were equipped with necessary equipment and tools, necessary for organization of the elections.

Election commissions were also created and over 99,000 people were attracted to organize their work. About 69% of them earlier participated in previous elections as members of election commissions.

About 47.4% of members of the commissions are women and 26.7% of them are the chairpersons of the commissions.
