Milliy Tiklanish supports peaceful policy of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Milliy Tiklanish supports peaceful policy of Uzbekista and policy of non-participation in military-political blocks, candidate to the post of the President of Uzbekistan from Milliy Tiklanish Sarvar Otamuratov said at the Fifth Congress of the party.

He said that main goals and tasks of the foreign policy of Uzbekistan are conducted in difficult conditions, situations, when there are threats to security and stability of the region.

Rich historic heritage of Uzbekistan, its spiritual and moral values, invaluable contribution to global culture became foundation for development of Uzbekistan as an equal subject of contemporary international relations, foreign policy and foreign economic activity, Otamuratov said.

He noted that Uzbekistan should firmly protect national interests within activities of foreign political and other bodies of the state bodies. He said “our motto – national interests are paramount”.

Presidential candidate said that it is necessary widely promote achievements of culture and art of people of Uzbekistan, form positive image of Uzbekistan at international arena.

Uzbekistan should also develop international cooperation in protecting rights, freedoms and interests of individuals and legal entities in foreign states, he said.

He said that the party also supports revival of Great Silk Road, which unites East and West.
