Uzbekistan’s election system has proved its effectiveness

The upcoming presidential elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan are at the focus of world attention. On the occasion of this important political event the representatives of public, political and business circles of Malaysia shared their views on the successes achieved by our country, including in the formation of a reliable electoral system in an interview with news agency Jahon.
Thus, the Executive Director of the World Islamic Economic Forum, the Emir David Bereng has positively assessed the high level of socio-economic advancement of Uzbekistan.
According to him, an important geopolitical location of Uzbekistan in the heart of Central Asia is one of the key factors to ensuring peace and stability not only in the country but in the region as a whole.
- Deep diversification of the economy and the development of new industries, the implementation of major infrastructure projects and the commissioning of new production capacities in the country - is the result of a systematic and deliberate policy of the government of Uzbekistan, - he stressed. - I believe that the forthcoming presidential elections in Uzbekistan are an important stage in the political and economic life of the country. I am sure that the elections will be held at the highest organizational level.
Senior Advisor to the Minister of Education and President of the Malaysian Binary University Joseph Adaykalam has noted that the first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov had laid the foundation of the current electoral system.
- The Senate and the Legislative Chamber of the decision of the Oliy Majlis on the results of the joint meeting demonstrate the viability of the system, - J.Adaykalam said. - The principles laid down in the electoral system of Uzbekistan, meet high international standards and the fundamentals of international law.
