The board of the Central Bank issued license to the Sarbon credit union (Zangiota district of Tashkent region) and Markaz credit union (Tashkent). The charter capital of the unions formed at the level of 68 million and 65.5 million respectively.

The activity of the new credit unions will be directed to finance business projects of their members – small business entities and individual entrepreneurs, as well as render leasing services.

Currently, seventy one credit unions work in Uzbekistan.
