SCO member states sign memorandum on accession of India, Pakistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) signed memorandums on obligations of the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to obtain the SCO member state status.
In the result, process of accession of India and Pakistan to the SCO will enter into final stage. It is expected that the countries will join the SCO at the organization’s summit in Kazakhstan in 2017.
Prior to the summit, India and Pakistan should joint to all documents, which are part of normative-legal base of the SCO.
Current, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are members of the SCO.
