Person, guilty for terrorism, to pay compensation to government

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The government now has right to demand compensation from person, guilty for actions which led to anti-terrorism operation.
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a law “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan”, which introduced changes to the Civil Code of Uzbekistan.
Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed the law on 29 July 2015 and the Senate approved it on 6 August 2015. The amendments came into force on 11 August 2015.
According to the amendments, the government, which made compensation to damages, caused in the result of anti-terrorist operation, has the right to recourse to the person, who is guilty to actions, causing antiterrorist operation, in the size of the paid compensation.
