Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A campaign directed to medical examination of population under motto “No one will be left without care and attention!” will start in Uzbekistan on 10 August 2015.
The campaign will be conducted with participation of highly skilled doctors of the medical centers, research institutes and medical universities. The campaign also envisages medical examination of World War II and labour front veterans.
The purpose of the event is to conduct advocacy for healthy lifestyles, strengthening the youth knowledge and skills to create a healthy family, the prevention of various diseases along with conducting medical examination of population.
The Uzbek Health Ministry said that about 300 leading scholars and doctors will participated in the campaign and visit all regions of Uzbekistan to conduct medical examination of population.
The campaign will be held in two stages. In the first stage, the medical examinations will be held in the regions. In the second stage, the leading doctors will conduct careful examination of people, who required additional attention.
The doctors will use modern diagnostic equipment during the campaign, including Flury-Mobile, ultrasound machines and ECG. During the event, pensioners, people with disabilities, lone elderly, children and women of childbearing age will undergo in-depth medical examination. If the patients are suffering from disease, they will undergo treatment in line with the special programme.
