Hungary to open its embassy in Uzbekistan in 2015

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Hungary is planning to open its embassy in Uzbekistan in 2015, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary László Szabó said in an interview to Jahon news agency.
A delegation of Hungarian business circles headed by Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary László Szabó arrived in Uzbekistan. The delegation held talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss cooperation between two states.
“As part of the meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, we were very pleased to know that your Government has agreed to the opening of the Hungarian Embassy in Uzbekistan. I think that under favorable this year we will be able to open it here. And next year, we also plan to open trading houses, which will facilitate the establishment of mutually beneficial ties for our business,” Hungarian official said.
He said that it should be noted that Uzbekistan has an ideal geographical location in Central Asia, as a whole, provides a good opportunity to establish fruitful relations also with the neighboring countries. All this testifies to the fact that we have long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation opportunities, which we would like to maximally use, he added.
“We are very glad to see political openness of Uzbekistan. It is encouraging that in the current year, we expect the visit of the delegation of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan in Hungary. I think that political dialogue will serve the development of scientific, cultural and social ties between the two countries,” László Szabó noted.
