National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activities and Eximbank of China achieved agreement on financing of Andijan hydroelectric power station-2, Pravda Vostoka reported.

The report said "super [power generating] units" of European analogues will be supplied within the agreement.

Andijan hydroelectric power station produces 140,000 kilowatt of electricity and Andijan hydroelectric power station-2 will be the second largest energy unit.

It is expected that the new equipment will be installed by the end of autumn 2007. Total cost of energy unit of 50 megawatt capacity is over 14 billion soums, the report said.
