Adolat not satisfied with parliamentary election results

Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Adolat is not satisfied with the results of elections to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and local representative bodies of the state bodies, the chairperson of the Political Council Nariman Umarov underlined.
He said that the party nominated 5,924 candidates to the Legislative Chamber and local Councils of People’s Deputies. He noted that 34% of candidates to MPs from the party are women and 11% are youth.
Nariman Umarov said that 17 people were elected to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan. He said the results are not satisfactory.
He underlined that the party did not use its potential and showed poor organization during the election. It was underlined that the party did not violate legislation compared to some other parties. Umarov said that the arty will mobilize its efforts in the second round of elections on 4 January 2015.
