IIMFCS and OSCE/ODIHR discuss election process in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Independent Institute for Monitoring the Formation of Civil Society (IIMFCS) hosted a meeting with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) led by Ambassador Daan Everts on 11 December 2014.

During the meeting, the OSCE/ODIHR familiarized with main directions of activities of the IIMFCS, including monitoring of election process, the press service of the IIMFCS said.

The OSCE/ODIHR representatives received analytical materials and manuals, prepared by the IIMFCS on the result of monitoring.

The sides also exchanged opinion on preparations to parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan, agitation process, conducted by parties and nominees.

The sides reached agreement on further strengthening of cooperation between two organization on monitoring of election processes.
