British Council, Uzbek bodies hold contest among young businesspeople

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- British Council in cooperation with Center for Secondary Special Vocational Educaion of Uzbekistan and support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, UNDP and Kamolot Movement are holding contest “The best creative thinking”.
The contest took place within two days and the final will be held on 21 November. The contest was held among students of colleges and directed at developing creative thinking among them, entrepreneurship and communication skills of young people.
The contest was held in three stages. In the first stage, the winners were determined in college level. The second stage was held in the regional level. The third stage in final tour and 14 teams were invited to Tashkent.
Teams prepared videos about their innovative ideas. The videos are uploaded to website www.markaz.uz and the visitors can vote to the best projects.
Three teams, which receive the most points, will get prize 2.5 million soums as a starting capital to implement their ideas. The winner team will be recommended to participate in international contest of young entrepreneurs.
