The participants considered activities of Milliy Tiklanish for last five years and preparations to upcoming parliamentary elections, which will take place on 21 December.
It was noted that the party contributed to further conducting democratic, political and economic reforms. It was said that the party should improve efficiency of its activities and fully use its potential, and analyze existing shortages.
Representatives of Milliy Tiklanish said that the party should regularly hear information of executive body on key issues, which touches interests of the voters of the party.
The party underlined that Milliy Tiklanish should ensure that upcoming elections will be held in high level with use of modern election technologies. It was said that the party should actively promote its goals among the voters.
The delegates also considered key tasks and goals of the party for next five year period and said that national revival should be on center of the party’s programme goals. The party should promote national interests in all spheres of political, social and humanitarian life of the country, preserving national heritage.
Studying of heritage of Uzbek thinkers, upcoming harmonically developed youth and developing tourism sector are also among key directions of the party for next five years.
At the congress, the party approved changes and amendments to charter, programme and charter of control-revision commission, as well as pre-election platform.
New members of the Central control-revision commission and Central Council of the Party were also elected. The party also approved a list of candidates to MPs of the Legislative Chamber.
