Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzstandard Agency and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) signed a protocol of negotiations within the project “Increasing potential of Uzstandard agency through introduction of modern ICT and development of general plan of development” on 24 October 2014.
The signing of the protocol is next stage in implementation of framework agreement on no-string aid for 2014 between Uzbekistan and South Korea, which was signed on 5 August 2014, the Uzstandard Agency said.
In 2012-2014, the Korean group, created by KOICA, held negotiations with specialists of Uzstandard agency to study existing system of management of the organization, current state of use of ICT and level of equipment of laboratories.
In the result of the research, they developed proposals on project “Increasing potential of Uzstandard agency through introduction of modern ICT and development of general plan of development” “Increasing potential of Uzstandard agency through introduction of modern ICT and development of general plan of development”, which will be implemented due to loan of the KOICA.
After agreeing main parameters of the project, the sides signed the protocol.
