Asian Games 2016: Uzbek tennis players win bronze medal
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan tennis team won a bronze medal of the 17th Summer Asian Games, which are taking place in Incheon, South Korea.
In the semifinal of the Men’s team competition, Uzbekistan lost to Kazakhstan with the score 1-2 and clinched the bronze medal of the Asiad.
Farrukh Dustov lost to Aleksandr Nedovyesov with the score 3:6 and 4:6. Denis Istomin beat Mikhail Kukushkin with the score 4:6, 6:3 and 6:4.
In the pair’s match, Denis Istomin and Farrukh Dustov were beaten by Andrei Golubev and Aleksandr Nedovyesov with the score 7:6, 5:7 and 4:6.
Currently, Uzbekistan won six medals of the Asian Games – one silver and five bronze medals.
