Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An exhibition project Uzbekistan Infrastructure 2013, which includes three international exhibitions “10th Uzbek International TransUzbekistan 2013 transport and logistics exhibition”, “9th Uzbek International Auto&Parts Uzbekistan 2013 exhibition” and “5th Uzbek International UzComak 2013 contruction and utility machinery exhibition”, started in Tashkent on 12 November 2013.
The exhibitions are organized by international exhibition company ITE Uzbekistan.
The international Uzbekistan Infrastructure 2013 cross-industry exhibition project will be held between 12th and 14th November in Pavilion No. 1 at the open observation venue of the Uzexpocentre exhibition centre.
The main feature of the exhibitions is the combination of transport, auto servicing and road building. Uzbekistan Infrastructure 2013 will become the traditional meeting place for specialists from related industries.
In the conditions of intensive economic growth in Uzbekistan special attention is paid to the process of modernisation and building of new roads, which connect the country with other states. The development of international links between Uzbek manufacturers and foreign partners and the transit potential of the republic make these measures very important. 20 different international routes pass through the country. The unique geographical location of Uzbekistan at the very heart of Central Asia offers great opportunity for international transport in every direction, the creation of lines of communication and routes for the direction of freight and passengers.
Over the 22 years of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan more than 3722 km of new international and national roads have been built. Moreover, as part of the “Increasing the pace of infrastructure development and transport and communication construction in 2011-2015” Presidential resolution, the construction and reconstruction of more than 2306 km of roads has been planned. The exhibitions will give specialists the opportunity to discuss issues connected to logistics, transport vehicle repair, roads and freight delivery as well as specialised and utility machinery.
Industry specialists from various countries are participating at the events. The unified exhibition presented over 60 companies from 15 countries, including: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, China, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Czech Republic. Foreign exhibitors comprise 86% with 14% of national exhibitors.
TransUzbekistan 2013 remains the only specialised exhibition where experts from the transport, logistics and international freightage industry meet. Over its 10 years of existence the exhibition has attracted over 200 companies, including internationally known companies in the transport industry. This year is no exception, as the transport sector unites 27 national and foreign companies.
The participation of Baltic countries is especially notable – the national group from Latvia, including companies such as RINOSTA, PP KOMERCENTRS, LOGISTICS PARK SCHENKER, LDZ CARGO and others, as well as Lithuanian companies SVEVALA, LINAVA and ALFA LINE. These activities are connected to the practical opportunities to transport Uzbek goods through the ports and transport infrastructure of Latvia to the countries of Europe and other regions.
The desire to broaden the sphere of cooperation is shown by the participation of companies from Azerbaijan, Germany, China, Russia, Czech Republic and Ukraine, including manufacturers of railway carriages and tank cars as well as companies offering passenger and industrial freight transport services.
The SEA PORT OF BAKU (Azerbaijan), marine transport, and STARMANS (Czech Republic), scanners of tank cars and carriages are making their first appearance at the exhibition.
The national companies participating in the exhibition for the first time are also important. Uzbekistan is represented by major players on the local market for the first time this year – ANGREN LOGISTICS CENTRE CJSC, which transports millions of tons of freight per year, including car parts, finished products, oil products and products from major chemical companies as well as ASIA TRANS TERMINAL, which specialises in freight forwarding services, among others.
Auto&Parts Uzbekistan 2013 has become one of the key sections of the project, which is traditionally carried out alongside TransUzbekistan. The exhibition focuses on servicing all types of transport. There are more and more companies in the Republic that are in the international automotive freight transport business, making their important contribution to the delivery of export products to the world market.
The effectiveness of international transport, including automotive transport is dependent on the condition of vehicles – this is the feature which connects the exhibitors at Auto&Parts Uzbekistan.
There are more than 10 exhibiting companies, including several foreign companies – FUCHS EUROPE SCHMIERSTOFFE, GmbH (Germany) – motor oils, BAIC (China) – commercial and personal vehicles, SEBANG GLOBAL BATTERY Co Ltd (Korea) – batteries, JANMOR (Poland) – car parts production. National manufacturers are represented by MAX AUTO GLASS JSC (Uzbekistan) – auto glasses, MEGA MEBIKO (Uzbekistan) – delivery and sale of car tyres and batteries.
The construction of internal motorways and their connection to international transport networks requires significant investment of capital coupled with the latest approaches to the solution of technical issues. UzComak 2013 is the only specialised exhibition in Uzbekistan that gathers leading international and local companies that work in the industry of construction, road, utility, excavation machinery and lifting equipment every year.
Among the active exhibitors from the Russian Federation this year is the collective participation of companies from the Novosibirsk region, including: SIBERIAN STEEL CENTRE, DIAGNOSTICS OF ROAD BEDS AND PAVEMENT RESEARCH LABORATORY, SIBTEKHAKADEM LLC, CONTRUCTION MACHINERY PLANT LLC and many other companies which are involved in the manufacture and delivery of mining equipment, the development of automatisation methods for geodesic changes, road and railway diagnostics, specialised machinery and construction equipment.
The exhibitors from Uzbekistan are no less significant in the industry: the largest producer of specialised machinery – JV MAN AUTO – UZBEKISTAN, construction and road building machinery from UK HEAVY MACHINERY and EVRO TYRES UNIVERSAL, a producer of tyres and specialised machinery. 25 leading companies are represented at UzComak 2013.
The TransUzbekistan, Auto&Parts Uzbekistan and UzComak are part of a series of specialised transport, automotive and road building exhibitions organised by ITE in the countries of the CIS, Europe and Asia.
