Nabijon Kasimov elected at APTA chairperson

Nabijon Kasimov has been elected as the chairperson of the Association of Private Tourism Agencies (APTA) of Uzbekistan.
He was elected to the post at the meeting of the members of the APTA, which was also attended by the representatives of Uzbektourism national company.
Now former chairperson of APTA Otabek Jalilov presented a report on the activities of the APTA for 2011-2013 and offered candidacy of Nabijon Kasimov to the post of the chairperson.
Otabek Jalilov said that he has experience in working in public and diplomatic services, as well as in supporting entrepreneurship.
The participants of the meeting supported the candidacy unanimously, the APTA press service said.
The Association of Private Tourism Agencies was founded in 1998 and it represents interests of tourism business in the market. It unites active companies of tourism market and participates in developing mechanisms on protection of interests of tourism agencies, initiate joint projects with tourism administration of Uzbekistan and other state bodies.
